Mrs Shaheen Unis is the founder and Managing Director of Asian catering company Mrs Unis Spicy Foods. She is a tireless ambassador for Edinburgh’s ethnic minority community. Amongst her many achievements is the Edinburgh Mela, which she co-founded and now directs. In 1995 she became a board member of the Ethnic Enterprise Centre under Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce. Mrs Unis was named Business Woman of the Year at the 2005 Empowerment awards.
